In a press release dated January 8, UM6P announced that its subsidiary Atlas Cloud Services (ACS) has just launched our country’s first sovereign cloud marketplace. This announcement was made during the Move to Cloud event in the presence of Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform.
This marketplace, developed by ACS and Rkube, “is an online platform allowing companies to provision services designed by ACS or compatible with its ecosystem. It also offers cloud-native applications that users can configure and manage independently.”, indicates the press release.
The service also provides Moroccan businesses with simplified access to various technological services such as computing, storage, networking, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Thanks to a single portal (one-stop shop), users can centralize the management of their cloud platforms, thus optimizing their efficiency and reducing operational costs.
-This cloud service stands out for its data localization in Morocco, full compliance with national regulations and an intuitive interface facilitating user autonomy. “It combines security, performance and flexibility, while meeting the specific needs of local businesses“, explains the press release.
The Move to Cloud event, where the announcement was made, offered “an operational framework to explore the latest technological advances in hybrid cloud and multicloud“. It was a place for exchange on best practices and solutions adapted to the challenge of digitalization in Morocco and Africa.
