While season 2 of Squid Game currently a hit on Netflix, a fan of the South Korean series spotted a big error in episode 7. Very quickly, it made the rounds on social networks… Explanation.
Released on December 26, 2024 on Netflix, season 2 of Squid Game never stops being a hit. It must be said that after a record-breaking season 1 in 2021, the return of the South Korean series was highly anticipated around the world. And, while a third and final season has already been announced, fans dissect each episode in search of details, clues or even errors…
A member of the technical team Squid Game appears in the season 2 finale
So, in episode 7 which serves as season finale to season 2 of Squid Gamea Netflix subscriber has noticed the presence of a cameraman on the screen. She shared her discovery on her TikTok account, specifying that it happened 22 minutes and 39 seconds into the episode in question. We can also check and see that, yes, a member of the technical team does indeed appear at that moment.

Very quickly, @_iamkimm’s TikTok video was viewed more than 500,000 times and was taken up on other social networks, notably X/Twitter where it received several million views. This error, initially unnoticed, is now viral.
And, contrary to what many took for a mistake in the first episode of season 2 of Squid Gamebut which is in fact an important detail, it seems that this time it is a real blunder during editing.
The South Korean program is far from an isolated case. For good reason, it is common for us to note errors of all kinds in series, no matter how cult they may be.
