IHe was a familiar face to theatre, film and television audiences. Actor Jean-Michel Dupuis died on Saturday morning, September 14, following a long illness, his last partner, Sylvie Audcoeur, told AFP at midday on Sunday.

Jean-Michel Dupuis, a theatre figure, had, among other things, played in the play The First Nameby Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, directed by Bernard Murat, with Patrick Bruel and Valérie Benguigui. During his theatrical career, he was nominated six times in the category of best supporting actor at the Molières.

On the cinema side, we could see him in films by Bertrand Blier (Thank you life1991), Claude Lelouch (Attention bandits !1987 ; The Beautiful Story1992), Claude Pinoteau (The Boom1980) or Édouard Molinaro (Left when exiting the elevator1988).
