Palaeontology – Video of the largest dinosaur track ever discovered in Britain, at Dewars Farm quarry, Oxfordshire, has been released by scientists

These images captured by a drone in Oxfordshire by the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom) almost give us the impression of chasing an animal. Except that the hunted species disappeared several million years ago. This video shows the largest dinosaur track ever discovered in Britain. It was discovered at Dewars Farm Quarry last summer.

It was a worker who discovered this track on the surface of the limestone while clearing clay with a backhoe. Since then, a team of more than a hundred scientists, students and volunteers have identified approximately 200 large footprints at the site. Images captured by drones have enabled the construction of detailed 3D models of locations
