Based on a plot of land of 51,500 m², BLS CASA HUB is a cutting-edge logistics platform with a strategic investment of 300 million dirhams, the first stone of which was laid in January 2024.
Buildings and Logistic Services (BLS), Moroccan leader in integrated logistics, proudly announces the inauguration of its brand new logistics platform, BLS CASA HUB, located southeast of Casablanca, in the province of Médiouna, in Sidi Hajjaj. This strategic investment of 300 million dirhams reflects BLS's ambition to support the growth in needs for modern and sustainable logistics solutions, while strengthening its leading position in Morocco.
A latest generation infrastructure
Established on a plot of 51,500 m², with 37,000 m² of ultra-modern buildings, BLS CASA HUB is equipped with 55 docks and has an impressive storage capacity of 59,000 pallets. The building has a height of 17.5 m, a concrete frame with spans of 30 m and a generous maneuvering area of 45 m wide. The platform has been designed to meet the strictest security standards, guaranteeing optimal management of goods. It also integrates innovative technologies and renewable energy solutions, aligned with growing sustainability requirements.
Note that this project was designed by the architect Ali Larhissi and carried out in Build & Suit by the company Gidna, managed by Zaid Lahbabi, in TCE, over a period of 11 months.
A lever for economic dynamism
From its start-up, the platform will create 150 direct jobs and 300 indirect jobs over time, thus helping to strengthen the local socio-economic fabric while supporting national growth in the logistics sector.
“This platform symbolizes our vision of modern, sustainable and competitive logistics. We plan to accelerate our development with new strategic projects, and integrate more advanced technologies, such as automation and artificial intelligence. BLS aims to become the preferred logistics partner for local and international companies,” declared Anass Moutaoukil, Managing Director of BLS.
Moreover, BLS CASA HUB is entirely marketed with renowned clients who have subcontracted their 3PL logistics there, notably LG (20,000 meters), Lesieur (11,000 pallet positions) and finally Transmed (10,000 pallet positions) . Also note that BLS won P&G's 3PL tender, allowing it to manage 11,000 additional pallet positions.
With these new contracts, BLS becomes the leading 3PL logistician at the national level with 250,000 pallet positions under management in 12 cities in the kingdom.
A commitment to eco-responsible logistics
According to Reda Quermane, Deputy Managing Director of BLS: “BLS CASA HUB is part of a global sustainable development approach aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and opting for several eco-responsible solutions. For example, the roofs are covered with photovoltaic panels covering up to 50% of electricity needs. Rainwater is collected and treated, and is reused in particular for watering the numerous green spaces. These initiatives reinforce BLS's commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly logistics. »
With this infrastructure, BLS strengthens its role as a Full Logistics Service Provider and is part of the national strategy for the development of logistics competitiveness. BLS CASA HUB illustrates the company's ambition to continue its investments to develop modern infrastructure, meeting the growing needs of key sectors such as distribution, industry and e-commerce.
