And not just any lottery: the first of the two “Christmas Specials” that the association organized, on the evening of Saturday December 21, 2024, Barbillat-Touraine room, in Châteauroux. A « non-stop lotus »in twenty-four parts, which started at around 8:30 p.m. and which promised to last until the middle of the night… With around 500 people, the meeting was full. And, like the Creuse table, the participants sometimes came from far away.

Smutty jokes and naughty allusions
“We have our regulars from all over Indre, but also from Haute-Vienne, Vienne, Cher, who follow the movements of the professional entertainer we call upon, Philippe Plantureux”explains Adeline Poivert, president of Accomplir 36. Between ribald jokes and naughty allusions in the delivery of his numbers, the man at the microphone knows how to excite his audience. And make him participate in a good deed.
“Help people out of trouble”
Because, since its creation in 2021 in Châteauroux, the Accomplir 36 association, which has around ten volunteers, provides “one-off support for people experiencing food, clothing or hygiene difficulties”. To raise funds, she organizes six lotteries per year (the legal maximum), almost everywhere in Indre.

“But these are only material donations, we do not provide any financial support”insists Adeline Poivert, who herself has benefited from the support of associations in the past. This is why, today socially and professionally integrated (she is a childminder), she in turn wanted to “help people out of trouble”by creating this association with a friend who supports her in the position of secretary-treasurer.
Ugly sweater and cardboard competition offered to people in disguise
On the lookout for good deals and promotions in stores, they purchased, throughout the year, some very nice lots, displayed prominently on the stage of the Castelroussine village hall: flat screen, companion robot , video game console… “In total, this Saturday evening, there are around €5,000, half in prizes, the other in vouchers”.
The main prizes to be won were displayed clearly on the stage of the village hall.

The minimum participation was, this Saturday evening, set at €20. “But some faithful are ready to play 60 or 70 € of cards”slips the president. Who also prepared some surprises for the audience: “We are offering a box to people who come in disguise and we are going to award a prize for the ugliest sweater. There are also pastries offered by Mademoiselle Desserts. »
