A new brand is moving into Rennes station, we learn from a press release.
This is the Dutch brand HEMA which is establishing itself in Brittany after opening in Angers, Montpellier and Cergy Pontoise. In Rennes, the brand formalizes its 68th opening store in France.
More dry foods, organic and vegan products
Every day, Rennes station sees 130,000 travelers travel, according to the brand, which therefore sees “as many potential customers for HEMA France”. This store is at 8ᵉ to open in a station in France.
This store will be a “ HEMA100 ” , that’s to say a new version initiated by the brand on the occasion of the (almost) 100th anniversary of the brand (which will take place in 2026). “Brighter, the HEMA100 space aims to be a personalized store in the image of customers; thus visuals illustrating their daily lives will be highlighted,” develops HEMA.
This new concept also makes it possible to develop the offer, with new, more inclusive references. We also discover the strengthening of dry food, organic, vegan and non-alcoholic drinks.
On the second floor
The HEMA store open on level 2 of the stationnear the covered parking lot. It replaces the store ” Sometimes “, aimed at women’s fashion and accessories, which therefore closed.
The store will open on January 31, 2025.
