The year 2025 is just days away, and with its imminent arrival, the new tax calendar fell. Between the fall of Michel Barnier's government and the appointment of a new prime minister, François Bayrou, fiscal concerns were relegated to the background. However, although the government is in full reorganization, the fiscal calendar is well defined and will not change.
It must be said that among all deadlines
tax rules that exist, it can sometimes be difficult to navigate. So, this calendar which compiles all the important dates is a valuable tool. This not only allows you to better organize your payments, but above all toavoid any delay which could lead to unpleasant surprises.
The 2025 tax calendar is here, mark your calendars!
Whether it concerns theIncome Tax (IR), Social Security Deductions (PS), Housing Tax (TH), Contribution to Public Audiovisual (CAP), Property Taxes (TF) or the Wealth Solidarity Tax (ISF), the 2025 tax calendar can be consulted here.
However, the question of income tax arises. Indeed, the government's censorship swept away with it the 2025 finance bill. This provided, among other things, for the revision of the income tax scale according to inflation, i.e. 2%. This revision was to apply to the six tax brackets, which thus made it possible to
reduce the amount of tax for many households, or even no longer be subject to it. But with the censorship voted by the National Assembly, this measure will not see the light of day.
Dates to remember from the 2025 tax calendar
Faced with this situation, and in the absence of a finance bill for 2025, it is therefore the “special law”filed on December 11 by Emmanuel Macron who manages public finances while awaiting a new budget which will be voted on in March 2025. This “special law” is based on the current budget. Please note, however, that this, as soon as it is voted on, may provide for retroactivity, in particular for
reimburse taxpayers if necessary.
January 15, 2025 is therefore the first date to remember. It is on this same day that the first
“Deposit in respect of the direct debit the source of income without collectors (income of self-employed people or farmers, land income, alimony, etc.).” if this is monthly (the 1st quarterly withdrawal will take place on February 17, 2025), as well as the first monthly withdrawal for
“all monthly taxes (property and housing taxes, CFE).”as indicated on the site impots.gouv.fr.

2025 tax calendar: Watch out at the end of the year!
In addition, you will have until June 30, 2025 to subscribe to the monthly direct debit for 2025 to income tax.
“The first collection will take place from the 15th of the following month.”specifies the site. After this date, it will be too late. Finally, particular attention must be paid to the last months of the year when numerous direct debits, payment deadlines or even memberships to be respected take place.
Indeed, from September 2025 to December 2025, the tax calendar is relatively busy. It is therefore important to regularly consult the withdrawal and membership dates, but especially the due dates to avoid any delay in paying your taxes. Note that the means of payment used also affects the dates which can sometimes differ slightly depending on online payment, TIP, check, bank card, direct debit at maturity or others.
