At the end of a weekend of winter physical activities, the 24e Great edition of the 24h Tremblant ended on Sunday with a total of $7,011,993 raised for the well-being of children, a record amount for the event.

Since Friday, thousands of participants have taken turns skiing, walking and running tirelessly for 24 hours.
“This unique winter marathon brought together nearly 4,500 participants united by a common determination: to support the cause of children, in the hope that they can grow up and thrive in health,” the organization said in a press release.
The 24h Tremblant Foundation financially supports other foundations whose mission is to help physically or mentally ill children as well as young people living in disadvantaged areas or who have special needs.
Thus, the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, the CHEO Foundation and the Tremblant Foundation will receive a donation.

“This 24th edition of the 24h Tremblant has proven to be a record year at all levels,” exclaimed Robert Dumas, President and CEO of Sun Life in Quebec.
The 24h Tremblant, launched in 2001, will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year.
Registrations for this 25th edition are already open for this year’s participants. The general public will be able to register from March.
