Nearly 90 years after its creation, Jaguar is experiencing a true revolution. In difficulty, the firm decided to limit its new range to a single car. But the felinefeline appears to be ready to bounce back. The brand has just unveiled a new logo and is today presenting its electric car concept, the Type 00.
As a Jaguar should not copy any other car and should be considered a work of Art, the concept was revealed at the Miami Art Weekrather than a living room automobileautomobile. The brand presents this model as “ a demonstration physiquephysique incomparable, unexpected and spectacular “. Nothing less!
New logo, new concept, these two elements show the new direction that Jaguar wishes to take, with “exuberant” modernism. The electric concept with its slender and refined design is 5 meters long. There is no rear window or mirrors. Instead, cameras transmit images of the vehicle's surroundings. They are housed in ingots of brassbrass which feature the famous jaguar found just in front of the two portesportes butterfly. These ingots deploy when the car starts. Likewise, the socketsairair at the front are closed when the vehicle is stationary. At the end of the long hood characteristic of the brand, the front face is vertical.

Stone decorative elements!
The grille has thin horizontal lines with the new Jaguar logo in the center. We find the same lines on the toittoit and at the back of the car. The rear lights also extend in the form of lines across the entire width. Another originality, on the rear side of the car, an electrical panel opens to reveal “totems” in brass or stone. travertinetravertine and alabaster. By taking one of these totems and inserting it into the central console of the cabin, the ambient lighting, the screen graphics and even the scents of the car change theme. The interior is luxurious. There are stone panels and a brass line running through the center of the cabin. The seats are floating and covered in a wool blend with no visible seams. On the engine side, this Jaguar should be equipped with an electric motor delivering 1,000 hp for 692 kilometers of autonomy and fast charging. It would allow 200 kilometers of autonomy to be regained in just 15 minutes. A priori, Jaguar intends to market a production model inspired by this concept at the end of next year. We don't know its price, but it risks being as spectacular as this concept.
