Located in the Technopolis Industrial Acceleration Zone, the new Forvia factory will specialize in the cutting, assembly and manufacturing of textile and leather covers for automobile seats. With this new platform, the group intends to diversify the offer and meet the growing demand of its customers.

The Forvia factory in Salé should generate nearly 1,400 jobs by 2027. The group plans to soon inaugurate another platform on its Kénitra site in order to increase its capacities. This future infrastructure should employ 450 people.

“Morocco, characterized by a continuously growing domestic market, is a country of particular importance for Forvia,” declared Patrick Koller, general director of the group, adding that the objective in inaugurating this factory in Salé is to “ contribute to the community and to the improvement of competitiveness and development of the automobile sector.”

Forvia has been established in Morocco since 2008. The automotive supplier now has three factories there: two in Kénitra and one in Salé, and employs nearly 4,000 people.
