The price of the Navigo Pass will increase by 2.8% in January, France Bleu revealed on Thursday, November 28. The monthly subscription will increase from 86.40 euros to 88.80 euros, or 2.40 euros more than today. As a reminder, in 2024, the Navigo Pass increased by 2.30 euros.

Ile-de-France Mobilités (IDFM), the transport organizing authority in Ile-de-France, must propose this new price list for a vote by administrators on December 11, with the guarantee that it will be accepted.

The price of the Annual Navigo Pass will increase to 976.80, an increase of 26.40 euros. The imagine R package will cost 9.90 euros more, reaching 384.30 euros. And imagine R junior will increase to 16.80 euros against 16.40 euros today.

This new increase is part of the transport financing protocol signed between IDFM and the State in September 2023. This text provides for moderate but regular increases in fares until 2031. It indicates that the increase for users must not exceed “l’inflation +1%”. Inflation for 2025 being forecast at 1.8%, this is why the price increase is set at 2.8% on 1is January.

The increase in the community contribution is set at “inflation +2%”. As such, the Region will pay 800 million euros next year, or 31 million euros more than in 2024.

The 1is January 2025 will also mark the overhaul of ticket prices, Valérie Pécresse announced in September. There will now only be two prices: 2.50 euros to take the metro, RER and Transilien and 2 euros for buses and trams.
