Air carrier British Airways seems determined to provide the best possible experience for its first class customers.
The airline has revealed what its first-class suites will soon look like, which will first debut in early 2026 aboard its Airbus A380 aircraft, the world’s largest airliner, according to the magazine Airways. The novelty will then be extended to other aircraft in its fleet.
The new very spacious cabins include a seat that will offer maximum comfort to passengers with its “flat bed” option which extends to 79 inches and its width of 36.5 inches.
The first-class ticket holder will also be entertained in complete privacy thanks to a 32-inch 4K TV and a rounded wall around their seat.
A customer who reserves one of the two seats in the middle of the row (the distribution will be 1-2-1) will have access to what the company describes as “buddy dining”, i.e. a central partition which opens between two seats to allow two passengers to share a meal or simply chat.
This new development is part of an investment plan of more than 12 billion dollars from British Airways.
