This new model has properties making it usable in metallic environments as well as on ESD materials allowing it to extend its applications (metal parts, electronic products, computer equipment, asset management, metal containers, etc.).

After acquiring the company identytag in 2020 (now the group’s second production site), inotec is launching a new on-metal tag: inotag Flex-SLT. This RFID (Radio frequency identification) tag was developed for the contactless identification of metal objects in logistics, industrial and asset management applications. RFID chips are used to identify and locate objects on the production line. Compliant with European FCC and American ETSI standards, its reading range on UHF frequencies can range from 865 to 928 MHz.

With dimensions of 54x25x1.8 mm, it is available in two versions. The first is equipped with an NXP UCode 9XM chip with a memory of up to 496 bits. The second uses a low-power NXP UCode 9XE chip (128 bits). This first version complies with the VDA standard for the automotive industry while the other offers a better reading range. Both guarantee an operating temperature between -20°C and +85°C (at 20-80% RH, non-condensing).
