Samsung Electronics Morocco Arab Maghreb has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting digital education in Morocco by signing a partnership agreement with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
According to a press release, a copy of which was sent to lareleve.ma, this renewed collaboration extends the scope and impact of the successful “Samsung Innovation Campus” (SIC) program.
The SIC program directly aligns with the goals set out in the Information and Communication Technology Roadmap 2022-2026, aimed at equipping teachers and students with the essential skills they need to thrive in the digital age.
The program has established training centers equipped with computers and learning support technologies in each regional academy. He also contributed tangibly to the training and certification of 562 teachers in Python programming.
Additionally, the program increased the number of regional training sessions for more than 1,000 secondary computer science teachers, successfully transferring valuable programming skills and knowledge to students.
Moving forward, the renewed partnership will focus on completing the training and certification of all remaining high school computer science teachers in Python programming. This year will also see the launch of the first-ever national programming competition, designed to encourage excellence and innovation in Python among Moroccan students.
This renewed partnership between Samsung and the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports illustrates a shared commitment to building a future-proof education system in Morocco. By equipping teachers and students with the necessary tools and skills, the SIC program enables them to actively participate and lead in the digital world.
