École Le Sommet in Quebec: clandestine boxing fights at lunchtime

Students at Le Sommet Secondary School, in Quebec, were caught organizing real clandestine boxing fights during lunchtime, to the great dismay of management who asked parents to intervene.

According to an email to parents of students who attend the school, young people regularly go to the grounds of the nearby Sibéria Spa for clashes.

Students, who presumably volunteered, established their own rules to determine the winners of these clandestine fights. They would also be surrounded by spectators filming the confrontations.

It was after reading these videos that the organization realized the seriousness of the situation.

“This type of behavior is dangerous and carries a high risk of accidents which can be very physically damaging,” we can read in the email sent by the management of École Le Sommet.

The latter requires the collaboration of parents to intervene with their child and discuss the dangers of such a practice.

More information to come.
