The SNCF unions (CGT-Cheminots, Unsa-Ferroviaire, Sud-Rail and CFDT-Cheminots) called on their troops to strike on Thursday, November 21. Then, they threatened to launch a social movement from December 11 “ unlimited and renewable ». « We cannot imagine that at a time when the French want to reunite, they will not be able to do so”protested the Minister for Transport, François Durovray. In vain? Recent history is cause for concern: in 2019, nearly one train in two was canceled due to the strike against pension reform; two years ago, 200,000 passengers remained at the platform following a social movement by controllers.
