Artificial intelligence is invading every aspect of our lives and school is no exception. To help teachers, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is setting up various tools, particularly online.
There are also training courses to raise teachers’ awareness of artificial intelligence and all the issues surrounding it. Claude Van Opstal is the educational digital project manager at the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and provides more details on the help offered to teachers: “We set up a focus. We have created a publication which is a gateway that a teacher can use to understand the main issues of artificial intelligence.
“It’s around forty pages to quickly overview the question: what is artificial intelligence, how does it work, what are its issues, the societal issues, the human and environmental issues as well It also explains how to integrate AI in the best possible way into learning..”
