Justice is interested in fraud in the world of luxury. A former employee of the Louboutin brand was indicted on Thursday in , suspected of having illegally resold more than 1,400 Louboutin pieces in the United States, according to sources close to the case and judicial sources on Wednesday.

She is suspected of having, between January and November 2024, stolen Louboutin leather goods and shoes, for damage estimated at this stage at more than 1,480,000 euros, according to the judicial source.

The suspect avoids pre-trial detention

The suspect, aged 30 and indicted for organized theft, was placed under judicial supervision by a judge of freedoms and detention, contrary to the requisitions of the prosecution which requested her pre-trial detention.

A former Louboutin employee, the graduate, who has never been convicted in the past, now works at Dior, said a source close to the matter. His judicial control, however, prohibits him from working in the luxury or fashion sector, according to the judicial source.

Dior pieces found

By searching his home, investigators found numerous pieces from the Louboutin brand – worth more than 60,000 euros – but also from the Dior brand – more than 85,000 euros. These discoveries have focused suspicion on similar acts committed to the detriment of Dior, underlined the source close to the matter.
