From January 1, it will no longer be possible to benefit from a reduction on the first TV option.
This is a change that could have gone completely unnoticed if we hadn’t delved into the details of the changes to Proximus’ offer. The operator has announced numerous changes to its telecoms offer from January 1. Almost all subscriptions are affected, as well as some options such as the Roaming Pass. More surprisingly, Proximus is removing one of the advantages most sought after by its customers: the 99 cent reduction on the first TV option.
Concretely, Proximus customers have until now been able to benefit from a reduction of 99 cents on the first TV option added to their pack. It could be any additional service: Pickx All Stars, Pickx Sports or even Netflix. On January 1st, this option will disappear.
The operator does not give details on the reasons which pushed him to delete it, we guess however that for him it was a loss of income and above all that the options are now popular enough to no longer have need a discount to sell…
Over the year, this will therefore represent almost €12 increase for all subscribers who have subscribed to at least one option, to be added to the many other additional costs announced.
