Suspension for Stellantis of the construction of battery factories in Europe! Bad times for electric cars.

Haaa…. the electric cars which will save the planet with very polluting batteries so that the eco-bobos believe themselves full of virtues by purchasing beautiful “indulgences” in the form of electric cars strongly recommended by the clergy of the holy church of climate rescue.

The problem is that in Germany they have stopped supporting these rolling things and no one wants them when it is not subsidized with other people’s taxes.

As a result… Stellantis suspends the construction of battery factories in Europe!

Automotive Cells Company (ACC), a joint venture supported by Stellantis, Mercedes and SAFT (a battery manufacturer acquired by TotalEnergie), nicknamed “the Airbus of batteries”, is putting a serious stop to its investments. The company announced the suspension of its plans to build battery factories in Germany and Italy. A decision resulting from the need to review its strategy and study the procedure to follow in a very uncertain market. Details of the new schedule are expected to be announced in late 2024 or early 2025.”

“This decision is closely linked to the stagnation of the electromobility market, while specialists predicted a continued increase in the coming years. In addition, inflation is straining household budgets, skyrocketing interest rates are harming credit and reductions or eliminations of state aid are not helping. »

And yes… the administered economy is still doing poorly!

Forcing people to drive electric when people don’t want it, when in ecological terms the potential gain is very low, the prices very high, and when States no longer have the money to massively subsidize these cars, it’s just not a good idea.

And bad ideas always crash against the wall of reality.

The only question is when? And the delay can be very variable. For example, communism took 70 years before collapsing a few tens of millions of deaths later.
