The OneLog connection platform used by many Swiss media is still paralyzed by a hack.

OneLog “is working hard with all the companies concerned to take measures to restore the services concerned in the coming days”, indicated Monday TX Group, parent company of Tamedia, which notably publishes 24 hours and the Geneva Tribune.

The connection platform is still paralyzed. Investigations are underway to determine the extent and consequences of the cyberattack carried out on Thursday. OneLog does not manage sensitive data such as credit card information, the Zurich group said.

watson is not affected

Launched just over three years ago, OneLog is used by more than 40 online portals. It is a joint venture between CH Media, NZZ, Ringier and TX Group. NZZ and CH Media titles are not affected by the piracy, as they have not yet introduced OneLog’s login solution. This is therefore the case of watsonpublished by CH Media.

Since the attack, OneLog has been in contact with the competent authorities in Switzerland and the EU, specifies TX Group. Due to the ongoing investigation, “no further details can be shared.”

This is not the first attack against Swiss media companies. Already last year, a cyberattack targeted NZZ and CH Media. After an unsuccessful blackmail attempt, the hackers published a large quantity of documents obtained during the attack, including employee and customer data.
