SHANGHAI, May 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ –The group SANY (SANY) recently partnered with an Australian customer for electrolysis hydrogen production equipment and hydrogen refueling equipment, catalyzing Australia’s National Hydrogen Strategy, which sets out a vision for a hydrogen industry clean, innovative, safe and competitive hydrogen that benefits all Australians.

The cooperation covers a full set of skid-mounted PEM and BOP equipment, skid-mounted 35/70MPa hydrogen refueling equipment and a full set of IGBT energy control systems. Adopting flexible electrolyzer hydrogen production technology, the hydrogen refueling equipment is mainly intended for industrial vehicles equipped with 35/70MPa hydrogen batteries. This strategic partnership represents SANY’s first foray into the international market with its hydrogen technology, following the development and pilot operation of China’s largest integrated hydrogen treatment plant.

In March this year, the sustainable hydrogen production and refueling complex developed by SANY entered the testing phase Changsha, in China. The station, which is also China’s largest sustainable hydrogen refueling station, includes three production, refueling and storage areas, with a daily production and refueling capacity of not less than 2tons and a storage capacity of more than 1000 kilograms, which makes it possible to serve four hydrogen vehicles simultaneously. Additionally, the electricity that powers hydrogen production at the station comes mainly from photovoltaic mass power generation equipment located in the nearby SANY Smart Heavy-Duty Industrial Park.

Hydrogen energy, which is part of SANY’s new energy industry organization, has made a breakthrough over the past year. At the end of May last year, the 2000Nm/h AWE series hydrogen production equipment rolled off the assembly line, and in December, SANY launched the largest hydrogen electrolyzer in China. world, the 3000Nm/h square series electrolyzer. Cooperation with Australian customer opens a new chapter for SANY’s hydrogen power development, as the equipment is firmly chosen by customers outside China.

After a thorough evaluation, we decided to choose SANY. We consider this to be a reference project that we can reproduce and promote in other markets, said the client. With its cutting-edge and evolving hydrogen technology, SANY aims to help Australia unlock its clean hydrogen potential and achieve its 2030 ambition to become a global leader in hydrogen-based energy. ‘hydrogen.

As the global community looks toward a future powered by clean, renewable energy sources, SANY will increase its investments in hydrogen power, wind power, photovoltaic power and energy storage development, thus providing a systematic solution for building a sustainable society.
