The Minister Delegate in charge of digital transition and administration reform, Ghita Mezzour, held a working meeting Tuesday in San Francisco, the heart of technological innovation in the United States, with the international investment fund “ Mubadala.

The meeting was held with Rafic Makki, Head of the Technology Department of the Start-up Investment Unit, and the company’s working team.

Emphasis was placed on this occasion on ways to strengthen cooperation between Morocco and the investment company Mubadala in the field of emerging companies, which will help develop this dynamic ecosystem.

Ghita Mezzour highlighted the distinguished skills of the Kingdom as well as its young talents who excel in the fields of innovation, digitalization and entrepreneurship.

This meeting is part of a working trip undertaken by the Minister to San Francisco, a large metropolis in the American West which is home to Silicon Valley, with a series of meetings with the leaders of active international companies on the agenda. in investing in start-ups, information technologies and artificial intelligence. The aim of this mission is to promote the assets and promising prospects offered by Morocco as a strategic hub for investment in Africa.

Mubadala is an Emirati sovereign wealth fund with assets of $276 billion with investments spread across more than 50 countries around the world.
