Public holidays in Bordeaux: update on shopping centers open or closed on May 8 and 9

This Wednesday, May 8, 2024, celebration of the Victory of 1945, is followed by Ascension Thursday. Bordeaux News takes stock of the openings and closings of shopping centers of the metropolis of Bordeaux for these two consecutive public holidays.

The shops in the shopping center Mériadeck will be open. Wednesday May 8: Auchan hypermarket from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., shops from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and restaurants from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday 9: the Auchan hypermarket from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., only certain shops from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and restaurants from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Elsewhere in the city center, the Promenade Sainte-Catherine will be open and the shops will operate with Sunday hours : from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Carrefour Market des Grands Hommes will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Outside the city center

• The shopping center Aushopping Bordeaux Lake : on both days, the shopping center will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Auchan hypermarket will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• The shopping center Aushopping Bouliac : the stores will be open on Wednesday May 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Thursday. The Auchan store will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
• In Bègles, the shopping center Banks of Arcins will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 9 and 9.
• The shopping center Mérignac Soleil should be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• The shopping center Four Pavilions will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Lormont. Carrefour will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• A little further north, the shopping center Grand Tour in Sainte-Eulalie will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 8 and 9.
• There Saint-Médard gallery will be open in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles. From 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. for E.Leclerc and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the rest of the gallery on both days.
• As for Pessac, the Casino hypermarket of the Bois Bersol shopping center indicated on its networks that it was open on May 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
