Which electric cars have been the most sold in France in recent months?

Discover the top 10 sales of 100% electric cars in France in April and since January thanks to data provided by NGC Data, with the first effects of the end of the ecological bonus for models not produced in Europe.

In April, sales of electric models which lost access to the ecological bonus last December were gloomy. And for good reason, if they had been supported before the end of this aid on December 15, and therefore deliveries in the following months, the effects of this implementation of the environmental score in France are now starting to be observed.

“Made in China” out of the Top 10

This is what we can see in this top 10 best-selling zero-emission models last month, thanks to data provided by NGC Data. A ranking which no longer includes any models produced in China.

However, we have to wait until fifth place to find a “made in France” model with the Renault Mégane E-tech. The Peugeot e-208 and e-2008 are produced in Spain.

The Renault Twingo (Slovenia), whose sales were boosted by government social leasing, found itself third. In fourth place, we find the Fiat 500, with an electric version assembled in Italy.

Peugeot, Fiat and Tesla on the podium from January to April

If we look at the ranking since the beginning of the year, we can see that these models assembled in China continued to be well placed, before this month of April. The Peugeot e-208 finds itself far ahead of the Fiat 500 and the Tesla Model Y.

We thus find in this top 10, the Tesla Model 3 and the MG4. The Dacia Spring was also still holding up at the start of the year. While waiting for its new version launched in September, the small electric is out of this ranking, but still remains eleventh, with 2,882 units delivered since the start of the year.
