Caviar, bacon or peanut butter: he eats pizza every day for 6 years

Kenny Wildes, originally from Connecticut and proud to take on the challenge, decided to eat pizza every day for 6 years. He documented his culinary journey on social media.

Sometimes he only eats one slice a day, but most of the time it’s a full pizza.

While his favorite pizza remains the classic pepperoni or margarita, Mr. Wildes enjoys testing new flavors and comparing them. Among his experiments, we find peanut butter, bacon and even caviar.

“I am sure I can say that pineapple certainly does not go on pizza,” he assured, however, in the newspaper The Guardian.

Mr Wildes’ challenge was started by one of his colleagues who bet he couldn’t eat pizza every day for a week. One thing led to another and the challenge continued.

“I worked for a company that deals with heating and air conditioning systems. With my colleague, we were on the road all day, and pizza was the fastest,” he said, adding that pizza represents what he loves most in the world.

Obviously not upset about going after the pizza, his wife willingly participates in this challenge and often brings slices of pizza home.

Mr. Wildes even said that on their wedding day, they ordered cheese pizza for their guests after the ceremony.

This challenge does not stop during public holidays or vacations. For Thanksgiving, Mr. Wildes goes to the Casino to collect his daily share and for Christmas, he buys twice as much and eats the leftovers the next day.

His passion for pizza comes from his father who owned a pizzeria. The enthusiast therefore created an account on social networks to document his culinary experience, which allowed him to find a new job.

“A little over a year ago, a pizza box company saw my Instagram and asked if I would be interested in working for them. I quit my job to sell boxes to pizzerias full time. “It’s the ideal job for me because I get to travel and taste pizza from all over the country,” he said.

Mr. Wildes decided to continue his journey until he lost the excitement for pizza, one bite at a time.
