Led by the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, the Moroccan delegation to this two-day conference notably includes the Director General of the Moroccan Society of Tourism Engineering (SMIT) , Imad Barrakad, as well as the Director of Investment Development, and the head of the Investment and Marketing Department at SMIT, respectively Mr. Younes Hajoui and Ms. Nada Serhir.
This event addresses several themes, such as the concepts of sustainability, the development of tourist destinations, investment opportunities in the Middle East region, the evolution of hotel investments, health programs, environmental and social governance and business, entrepreneurship, as well as issues related to risk management.
Conference participants will also delve into regional investment trends, hospitality sector prospects in Africa, Europe and the Gulf region, with particular emphasis on the prospects of future of technology in this sector. They will also examine issues relating to health and wellbeing, asset management, and entrepreneurship and creativity.
The conference will also be marked by the organization of the semi-finals of the “Women in Technology” competition, an event initiated by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, with a view to highlighting the growing and central role women in the hospitality sector in the Middle East. This competition aims to promote female entrepreneurship and the most innovative start-ups led by women and using technology in the field of tourism.
According to the organizers, the Future Hospitality Summit World provides a key strategic platform to strengthen professional relationships, drive innovation and shape the future of hotel investments, while providing an opportunity for industry professionals to showcase their leadership and expertise.
