This result is attributed to the fact that the province of Tây Ninh organized various agricultural events on a national and international scale, making it possible to link and promote cooperation between farmers, companies and international partners.

Between 2023 and 2024, numerous agricultural fairs and exhibitions took place in Tây Ninh, attracting hundreds of companies from Japan, South Korea, China as well as European companies. These fairs not only provided an opportunity to promote the province’s agricultural products, but also created favorable conditions for Vietnamese and foreign companies to sign important commercial contracts.

Business meeting sessions create cooperation opportunities for local and foreign companies.

Business meetings programs have played a crucial role in strengthening the province’s agricultural exports. In particular the program “Business connection forum between investors with a view to developing a hi-tech agricultural ecosystem”, in June 2023, in Tây Ninh. This program aimed to attract investments in hi-tech agriculture and enabled the conclusion of several memorandums of understanding between the People’s Committee of Tây Ninh province and numerous domestic and foreign companies.

Through this program, the Hung Nhon Group, in cooperation with the Dutch De Heus Group, aims to achieve a breeding capacity of around 10,000 pigs of the same breed in the Central Highlands region by 2030, from 200,000 commercial sows in the South-East, South-Central and Central Highlands regions, 58 million breeding chickens and 25 million chickens in Tây Ninh.

Investing in hi-tech agriculture

During the forum, memorandums of cooperation were signed between the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province and organizations and enterprises, including a memorandum of cooperation between the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province, the Agriculture Association (VIDA) and the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EuroCham) on the implementation of agricultural digitalization technology in Tây Ninh and a memorandum of cooperation between the People’s Committee of Tây Ninh Province, the De Group Heus (Netherlands) and Hung Nhon Group on the investigation and search for investments in a number of agricultural projects applying high technology in Tây Ninh province.

Tây Ninh promotes the development of hi-tech agriculture.

Accordingly, Hung Nhon plans to invest in the construction of agricultural projects applying high technology to the tune of approximately 2.5 trillion VND. The project includes a high-tech livestock complex, a high-tech agriculture zone, a slaughterhouse and livestock product processing plant, a feed raw material zone and a research center. on breeding.

A memorandum of cooperation between the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province and BAF Agriculture Joint Stock Company for the implementation of the meat production and processing complex project in Tay Ninh Province was also signed. . The project represents a total investment of 600 billion VND for a capacity of 50,000 tonnes of meat/year.

In addition, a memorandum of cooperation between the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province and Vietnam Dairy Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) for the implementation of the dairy factory and dairy farm complex project in the province of Tây Ninh was signed. The project represents a total investment of 1,500 billion VND, including a milk processing plant with a capacity of 36 million liters/year and a No. 2 dairy farm with a capacity of 8,000 cows, all carrying the capital total investment of more than 4,600 billion VND.

Organizing these events not only helped Tay Ninh province to showcase products, but also created opportunities to sign many important business contracts. In 2023, agricultural companies in Tay Ninh signed more than 50 export contracts with a total value of more than 500 million USD. Products such as rubber, cassava and processed agricultural products from sugarcane are now present in many major markets such as the United States, Japan and Europe.

The application and investment in high technology for agricultural production is encouraged by the authorities of Tay Ninh province.

In addition, the province also promotes participation in international forums on agriculture and agricultural export. These events not only provide opportunities to exchange and learn from experiences of developed countries, but also help local businesses find partners and expand consumer markets.

Nguyên Dinh Xuân, director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that by 2030, Tây Ninh plans to develop 20 agricultural zones applying high technology, including 9 between 2022 and 2025, i.e. 5 cultivation regions of an area of ​​2,950 ha, 3 chicken breeding regions with a scale of 972,000 chickens/lot and 1 mixed farming and breeding region with an area of ​​1,646.1 ha.

During the period 2026 – 2030, 11 zones will be developed (8 cultivation regions with an area of ​​5,714.7 ha, 2 dairy cow and pig breeding regions on a scale of 50,000 animals/year and 1 region mixed farming and livestock breeding with an area of ​​5,714.7 ha). Each certified production area must form at least one product consumption link.

Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province, stressed the importance of applying high technology to agriculture to improve productivity and product quality. He also appreciated the cooperation of reputable companies investing in high-tech agricultural projects in the province.
