A Delta Air Lines flight had to turn around just 30 minutes after taking off this Friday, April 26, in the States. The 767’s emergency slide came loose in mid-flight.

Yet another incident at Boeing. This Friday, April 26, the pilots of Flight 520 linking New York to Los Angeles had to turn around, half an hour after takeoff.

The 176 passengers of the Boeing 767 experienced a big scare when they felt “vibrations and clicking noises.” They landed at 8:35 a.m. safely at John F. Kennedy International Airport according to ABC . No passengers were injured.

Delta Air Lines said it did not know where the emergency slide fell. “Delta fully supports the recovery efforts and is cooperating fully with the investigation (opened by the FAA),” the statement said.

No explanation for the reasons for this incident has yet been provided. Since the accident of the door torn off in mid-flight of a Boeing last January, the manufacturer has had a series of incidents on its aircraft.
