The CAFOM Group grants the Habitat brand license

at Vente-unique.com

The CAFOM Group, a major player in home furnishings in Europe and Overseas, announces that it has granted the operating license for the Habitat brand to Vente-unique.com, an expert in the online sale of furniture and home furnishings. home in Europe. This announcement is part of the rebirth of the iconic Habitat brand orchestrated by Vente-unique.com announced today (see press release).

The agreement, with an initial duration of 3 years, is accompanied by a fixed remuneration of €600,000 per year paid by Vente-unique.com to CAFOM as well as an exercisable purchase option for the Habitat brand. over this period by Vente-unique.com, for an agreed price of €15 million. In the event that the option is not exercised by the end of the initial period, it is intended to continue the license agreement.

Furthermore, as announced on March 27, 2024, the CAFOM Group voluntarily took the initiative to seek a solution for the approximately 9,000 customers affected in France by the liquidation of the former operator of the Habitat brand, for total damage estimated at approximately 9 million euros in sales price including tax. CAFOM, which has entrusted Vente-unique.com with the implementation of this plan, will take responsibility for the investment necessary to cover the price of the products to be delivered as part of this campaign and Vente-Unique.com will take responsibility for the bears logistics costs.
