The Gaillac-Graulhet Agglomération media library network invites you to the Café-lecture organized in Tonnac, room J. Murcia, on Saturday January 18, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The guest of honor will be Bernard Ariès, Tarnes author of thrillers. Based in Tarn since 1997, Bernard Ariès draws inspiration from the landscapes and history of this region to weave the plots of his novels. He is the author of three detective novels: “An Old Odor of Haine” (Éditions Cairn), “Brousses”, and “Pierres secs” (self-published). At the heart of his stories, there is a gruff, attached investigator to its values, but often out of step with the changes in current society. Through his novels, Bernard Ariès likes to mix detective intrigue with elements of great history, notably the Second World War or the Algerian War. A lover of words, Bernard Ariès does not stop at detective literature. He is also the author of short stories and songs, in a poetic universe reminiscent of Georges Brassens or Allain Leprest. recorded three albums.
