The Suicide Squad video game was really useless

The ultimate video game cutscene Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League confirms that the superheroes we killed were just clones. Batman, in particular, is actually still alive.

A real fiasco of the year 2024, when it was supposed to fill Warner Bros.’ bank account. in the long term, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has just received its final content. The brave few can face Brainiac for the umpteenth time, which reveals an astonishing final cutscene.

We learn that the main members of the Justice League – those who were killed in the main adventure – were in reality only clones (supporting certain theories and rumors). Batman, Superman, Flash and Green Lantern are therefore still alive (unlike Wonder Woman, who is still entitled to her tribute statue). A plot twist which allows the Arkhamverse – video game saga launched by the Batman: Arkham trilogy – to offer itself a small way out. And confirm, once and for all, that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a huge anomaly that should never have existed.

Batman is not dead in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

« This game was just a waste of time. It’s a bigger waste of time than the DCEU [les films DC Comics]. I can’t wait to see people defending this mess. The fact that people can defend him is incredible », perfectly sums up an Internet user on YouTube. Overall, fans are happy to learn that the Batman from the Arkhamverse is still alive, since this foreshadows a future where he will return in a much more successful video game (we can believe it). After all, it is one of the licenses on which Warner Bros. will bet for gaming (with Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Mortal Kombat). These final seconds of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are perhaps akin to a tease to signify his return.

Others are surprised by the total disappearance of Wonder Woman, the only female member of the cast of good guys. “ This game should be called Justice League: Kill Wonder Woman », quips sombramemer1230. There is, however, a twist on this subject: she was not captured by Brainiac and actually helps the members of the Suicide Squad. But this epilogue remains funny when we know that a video game centered on her is in development at Monolith Productions.

It should be noted in passing that the cinematic in question is not even produced with the game engine. Warner Bros. no longer wants to inject money into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League that we have to be content with a parade of sketches with a hint of animation – an inspiration from comics. When we remember the initial ambitions, it is profoundly ridiculous.
