The 22nd Theix-Noyalo book fair will be held on Sunday January 19 at the Pierre Dosse room in Theix-Noyalo, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is organized by the municipalities of Theix-Noyalo, La Trinité Surzur and Sulniac. The event is also supported by the Theix-Noyalo cultural center, the GMVA media library network, the Sofia network and the Brittany region.
This year’s theme will revolve around emotions. The visuals of the show and programs were created for the first time by the upper nursery students at Sainte Cécile and Marie-Curie, supervised by Manon Beaumont, illustrator. Before the show, authors and illustrators will visit schools to raise children’s awareness of drawing and writing by revealing to them the secrets of making a comic strip or a novel and the different stages of its creation.
A book check for 8 euros
80 authors will be present at the show, as well as publishing houses and booksellers. This year again, the 1,200 primary school students from the three organizing municipalities will receive a book voucher for 8 euros to spend on the purchase of a book at the fair. It allows access to culture for all, and perhaps to obtain a dedication or a drawing from the authors. The organizers expect fruitful exchanges in a warm and caring atmosphere for these young people. All day long, M’s magical hands will do the children’s makeup on the themes that are dear to them.
