“Poisson-Fesse” is on a roll – Libération

In the ranking of best sellers in bookstores – where this week he is hovering around twentieth place – the mere appearance of his name makes you smile. His name is “Buttfish” car “he has a butt head” – and besides “everyone tells him so” even his friends. In real life, his name is Damien, but we will learn that later, halfway through, when our round and pink hero, leaving the mockery behind him, will have met Steven, a Savoie tomme fish who offers him “a game of raclette” at the bottom of the ocean. This is not the account of a bad dream linked to too much seafood during the holidays, but the framework of a youth album with continued success since its release in June 2024 with, to date, some 33 000 books sold and a fifth edition (the largest) of 20,000 copies launched in December – just right to make young and old alike laugh under the tree.

How to measure success?
