From April 4 to 6, 2025, dive into the world of words and ideas with Book Stopoversa major event on the Bordeaux cultural scene. For this 23rd edition, the festival is taking over the right bank, with a program combining innovation, diversity and commitment, while maintaining a strong link with the left bank.
Darwin Ecosystem: the new heart of the festival
This year, Darwin Ecosysteman emblematic place of creativity and ecological awareness, becomes the nerve center of the festival. THE literary villageinstalled on the site, will bring together a host of players from the book chain: independent publishers, booksellers, authors and readers. To encourage collaborations, shared stands and interactive animations will be put in place. Whether you are curious or passionate about literature, you will find something to nourish your mind.
But that’s not all: even before the official kick-off, previews in the bookstores and cultural places in Bordeaux will allow us to reach new audiences. Collaborative workshops and fun activities will invite everyone to explore the world of books in a different way.
