The Cellar of Talant Castle experienced an exceptional evening this Saturday. Bringing together a large and enthusiastic audience, the launch of the book “Talant, the strength and taste of an emblematic place” was a real success.
The book, the fruit of the hard work of the IN DIVIO VERITAS association, immerses readers in the heart of the history of this emblematic commune of Burgundy. After exploring the vineyards of Ahuy and Saint-Apollinaire, then the village of Couchey, the association took on a new challenge: retracing the epic tale of Talant, a town which was almost the temporary capital of the region.
Thanks to exclusive testimonies collected from residents, this book offers a lively and authentic portrait of Talant. The authors have been able to highlight the rich and varied heritage of this town, as well as the attachment of its inhabitants to their land.
This success is the result of close collaboration between the association, the inhabitants of Talant and the patrons who supported this project. Their commitment made it possible to bring to life a work which has established itself as an essential reference for all those interested in local history.
To obtain this book and have it signed by members of the IN DIVIO VERITAS association, go to L'ESCALE Espace Culturel or contact them on 03 80 44 60 30.
