Aucamville. A new chapter for the “Aucam’livres” festival

Sunday December 15, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., lovers of reading and creative activities will find what they are looking for during the 3rd edition of the “Aucam'livres” festival, dedicated to youth. Organized by the municipality of Aucamville, in collaboration with the municipal services, early childhood, youth education and the Municipal Social Action Center, this event will take place in several cultural places in the municipality, immersing the public in varied worlds. Each child in the local schools will be given a souvenir book, ideal before the holidays.

Georges Brassens village hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: paper creations from 3 years old, folding workshops from 6 years old, and manga workshop for 3 to 10 year olds. At 2 p.m.: meeting and signings with Cécile Bonbon, renowned illustrator in children's publishing, and Karine Guiton, librarian, author and storyteller. In the afternoon: paper airplane launches, first name graffiti workshop from 10 years old, and at 5 p.m., a Christmas choir led by Anne Berthé. Luciano Sandron Media Library at 10 and 11 a.m.: readings for the little ones. At 10:45 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.: musical readings by the company Les Bricoleuses (from 6 months to 6 years old). At 12:30 p.m.: reading in Spanish (3 to 8 years old). At 3 p.m.: bilingual readings in English, Wolof, Italian and Arabic (3 to 8 years old).

Jean Marais Cinema at 10:30 a.m.: screening of short films for 3 to 6 year olds. At 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.: film sound workshops led by Philippe Étienne, from 6 years old (and 10 years old in the afternoon). Alain Savary Cultural Center at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.: illustration workshops for 3 to 6 year olds with Cécile Bonbon. At 3 p.m.: writing workshop from 10 years old with Karine Guiton. Other activities will enrich this day, such as a workshop with visual artist Sarah Branger-Luquet, an Arabic calligraphy workshop with Saïd Benjelloun, reading spaces led by Z'oiseau livres, and creative workshops around coloring, glitter balls , bookmarks, and trees made from recycled books. Board games, puzzles and Lego constructions will complete the offer to bring together all generations.
