Every year, the Grand Prize for American Literature ” ccrowns an American novel, which stands out for its first-rate literary qualities in order to offer a reference point to readers who appreciate in numbers this literature and the writers who animate itt. » The jury of this 10th edition has just finalized its first selection, made up of 10 titles.
A shortlist of four finalists will be revealed before the Frankfurt fair. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 12, and will succeed Alexander Hemondistinguished in 2023 for A world of sky and earth (Calmann-Lévy).
The jury is composed of booksellers Sylvie Loriquer (The Catcher in the Rye), Geraldine Mausservey (Paris Bookstore), Jean-Christophe Millois (The School of Bookselling), Pascal Thuot (Millepages), journalists Oriane Jeancourt, Nicolas Carreau et Philippe Chevilleyas well as publishers Caroline Ast, Juliette Ponce et Francis Geffard.
