Two weeks after her hospitalization, Laeticia Hallyday spoke on Instagram, Wednesday November 27, 2024, to discuss her health problems.
She explains that the presence of her sister-in-law was decisive in helping her get back on her feet, while she was on a humanitarian mission.
Laeticia Hallyday thanks the presence of “a sister”
Last November 11, Laeticia Hallyday was hospitalized in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, due to back pain and high fever. She was reportedly diagnosed with pyelonephritis, a bacterial infection of the kidneys. But the reasons for his health problems remained unclear until now.
Now recovered, Johnny Hallyday's widow wanted to send a few words, “gratitude in its purest form”, to Jessica Mas, her sister-in-lawwhose presence was essential to him.
“During our humanitarian mission in Vietnam, a moment of trial came my way. But you were there, with your infinite tenderness and this discreet strength that characterizes you. You watched over me with love and modesty, as only a sister can do,” she wrote on her Instagram account, in the caption of a video in which the two women hug.

A memorable stay in Vietnam
Accompanied by her sister-in-law, Laeticia Hallyday claims to have been able to “find the serenity necessary to heal” and the strength to continue the mission for which she is committed in Asia for the benefit of the La Bonne Étoile association.
The organization, created by Hélène Darroze and Laeticia Hallyday in 2012, helps provide care and education to children in the world.
Sick, Jade and Joy's mother had to cancel several of her visits. Back on her feet, she then took advantage of her stay and shared photos and videos, notably in the city of Hanoi, which was her “eternal favorite”, she always shares in an Instagram post.
