This book fair which takes place before the next conference which will close the year 2024, proposed by Carol Iancuprofessor emeritus of Contemporary History at Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 University and director emeritus of the School of Advanced Judaism Studies, Monday December 9, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., Salle Pétrarque. The Montpellier academic, who has just been awarded the National Prize for Judeo-Christian Friendship of AJCF-Hubert Heilbronn 2024.

He will return to the fraternity rediscovered between monotheistic elder brothers in the aftermath of the Second World War and the Shoah, which led to the Second Vatican Council and the Declaration Nostra Aetate, the fruit of the work initiated by the French Jewish historian Jules Isaac with the Sovereign Pontiff John XXIII, to move from the teaching of contempt to that of esteem on the part of Christianity towards Judaism. Two thousand years of incomprehension which gave way to a peaceful and fruitful Judeo-Christian dialogue.
