Cordes-sur-Ciel. 6th edition of the children's book fair

The 6th edition of the Cordes-sur-Ciel children's book fair will be held on Saturday November 23 and Sunday November 24 at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary . This event which traditionally closes the Cordoise cultural season is enjoying growing success. Authors, illustrators, publishers, booksellers will introduce their worlds and sign their works. Everyone will find the genre that suits them among novels, illustrated , manga, comics. Workshops and activities are on the program during these two days, including on Saturday a workshop to create a gif sequence on the theme of sport but also a short humorous manga comic strip in four vertical boxes.

Budding artists can indulge in the pop-up or make a postcard or bookmark. The day will end with a reading drawn to music. Sunday begins with a surprise drawing workshop then a youth journalist who will tell the story of the mountains and mountaineering through exceptional drawings from Roger Frison-Roche to Kilian Jornet. Haiku workshops and Christmas cards are planned before the clown sequence where the story of Célestin, the collector of sorrows, will be told. An exhibition “records in nature” will reveal the diversity of our planet in a fun and poetic way.

Children and adults will be able to discover numerous flip books and a document to show animated film techniques. Note the writing of a story with several people, where everyone adds a sentence to create the largest participatory story. For older children, Cordais authors and publishers will present their latest publications. Free and free entry to the show, events and workshops.
