An event not to be missed for lovers and reading enthusiasts. Sunday November 17, 2024 at the Marcelle-Buba space in Castelsarrasin the 7th edition of Book fair. This event will be presented by the association “Reading for everyone” in partnership with the City.
Authors from all over Occitania
Throughout this day, which will be organized in two stages from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and of 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., nearly 35 around Occitanie will answer the call. “From children's literature to adolescent and adult literature, this Fair will be aimed at the general public.“, details the Castelsarrasinoise media library.
All Tarn-et-Garonnais who will attend the event will be able to have the opportunity toexchange with different authorsbut also take the opportunity to do dedicate their works.
Two workshops scheduled
So that young and old alike can fully enjoy the Show, various activities will be on the program, such as:
- a youth workshopRead and make people read” with readings for children
- a historic workshop “Origin of writing: 3000 BC. AD” which will be accompanied by a demonstration of making clay tablets and cuneiform writing
Maylis Adhémar, guest of honor
On the occasion of this 7th edition, it is the writer Maylis Adhémarknown in particular for his novel “Blessed be Sistine” published in 2020which will be theguest of honor of this Book Fair.
