This book which shows Le Mans at the beginning of the 20th century has just been republished

Published in 2008 by memory smugglers Jacques Goyer and Jacques Chaussumier, the book “Le Mans d’antan” bringing together 400 old postcards of the city has just been republished.

One edited the magazine La Vie mancelle et sarthoise, the other chaired the tourist office. Jacques Chaussumier and Jacques Gohier were living memories of the city of Le Mans. A wealth that they put to good use by signing a four-handed portrait of the city at the beginning of the 20th century using 400 old postcards compiled in the book “Le Mans d’antan”. Published in 2008, the work has just been republished by HC éditions….
