“Hide and Seek in the ”: a children’s book launched on the occasion of the Book Festival

After the success of “Recettes de la ” highlighting Loire gastronomy, Éditions La petite Boussole returns with a new title: “Hide and Seek in the Loire”. A “search and find” type children’s book in which children will have fun finding a family hidden in colorful paintings of the most famous places in the Loire: Montbrison, Saint-Étienne, Saint-Victor-sur-Loire, Chalmazel… Saint -Victor-sur-Loire, Chalmazel…

It is on the occasion of the Saint-Étienne Book Festival 2024 that this first search and find is released, 100% made in the Loire: concept, illustration, layout and even printing. Guillaume Jouve, author of the book specifies: “With this work, we wish to share and disseminate the culture of the Loire region. For the occasion, our illustrators have created an iconic family that accompanies the reader: little Coline, her brother Geoffroy, her parents Manu and , grandparents Lamine and Myrtille, without forgetting Babet the dog and Pampille the cat! Everything is an excuse to promote our culture, our history and make everyone want to visit the most beautiful places in the Loire“. From Pilat to , from the Zoo to the Opera, from the vogue of Firminy to the City of Design… the family walks through colorful and drawn scenes, full of details and nods to local culture.

In the era of green and local tourism, “Cache-Cache dans la Loire” invites young people (and not so young) to discover the Loire, its cultural richness and its heritage.

The book is available in bookstores at the price of €24.90
