Saint-Gaultier finds its book fair

It is undoubtedly one of the most important events organized by the Saint-Gaultier festival committee, along with the summer night market. This show, which is always successful, will once again take over the city’s village hall, Sunday October 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be something for everyone, twenty-five authors and publishers with painters and a seller of comics for young people.

A diversity of authors

For authors, visitors will have the choice among novelists: Maryze Bouzet, with a family story between Indre and Creuse, detective novels with Murielle Lucie Clément, thrillers with intrigue, feeling and humor for Denis Julin, Françoise Renaud, who has already written around thirty works, Dominique Delplace with her first novel, Véronique Fournier, with her latest book where we find Saint-Gaultier, or even Gérard Chareyre, between Bas-Berry and Egypt.

There will also be a biographer, Christophe Grandemange, familiar with the event and history with the Society for Historical Studies of Saint-Gaultier. Even the canton’s NR correspondent will be present, without forgetting François Coulaud who designed the poster for the show. Finally, children will be able to enjoy a reading discovery activity all day long.
