The 10th History Book Fair will take place on the weekend of October 18, 19 and 20, 2024 at the Auguste Escoffier cultural center in Villeneuve Loubet
HISTORY BOOK FAIR 2024 – The history fair is always an opportunity to question our time and our world by putting them into perspective over a long period of time. Even if history does not repeat dishes, as a certain Louis-Ferdinand Destouches, known as Céline, said, it helps us understand the present.
The opening evening will be devoted to a meeting with Vladimir Fedorovski, a regular on the Côte d’Azur, who will discuss his latest book: “Stalin & Putin: dialogues from beyond the grave. The World of Tomorrow” (Balland). Saturday and Sunday, around thirty authors will be present and will sign their works. Mornings will be devoted to film and documentary screenings and afternoons to debates. Comics will be in the spotlight with a selection of documentary books, novels and comics. The new Calype publishing house will benefit from a dedicated space where it will present a selection of its Destins collection. A catering area is offered on site by the Villeneuve Loubet Festival Committee.
