Pourrain. The library is making room. The Pour un livre association, which manages the Pourrain municipal library, organized a big clearance sale on Saturday and Sunday to make room on its shelves.
Duplicate works, unsuitable donations, out-of-fashion works, there was plenty on the tables in the village hall. “We have a contract with a solidarity bookstore for books that no longer have a place in the library,” explains the president, Odile Touzelet. They are then resold second-hand or redistributed in disadvantaged sectors. The rest goes to recycling. »
The next meeting at the library will be on Wednesday October 16, at 10 a.m., with a welcome for toddlers with their parents, grandparents, childminders and the nursery. The theme will be the wolf with readings and activities by volunteers, and the loan of books from the departmental media library. Also discover the new board games area in the library.

The library is open Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
