The juries make public the list of books that caught their attention during this literary season. The selections will be refined during the fall. Latest publications to date: the second selection of the Goncourt prize and that of Femina, Tuesday October 1st.

Lhe literary prize season was launched with the first selection of the December Prize on September 2, followed the next day by that of the Goncourt Prize, then the Renaudot. The 2023 vintage was marked by great texts by female writers (Neige Sinno, Laure Murat, Maria Pourchet, etc.) and some cautious choices. This year, two writers are nominated four times: Gaël Faye and Miguel Bonnefoy. The lists of authors will first multiply before they are refined during the fall to designate only a handful of winners. An update on the books that caught the attention.

Goncourt Prize

The Goncourt academy unveiled Tuesday 1is October its second selection, after the initial one of sixteen novels published on September 3. On October 22 there will be only four left, then the winner will be known on November 4.
