According to information collected by Europe 1, the police arrested 63 people from the anti-fascist movement in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. These individuals, some wearing protective masks and batons, wanted to go to a signing by the authors of the book “Transmania”.
Dragnet in the 5th arrondissement of Paris: 63 people from the anti-fascist movement were arrested this Saturday at the start of the afternoon, a source from the police headquarters tells Europe 1. Among these individuals, some were equipped with protective masks and telescopic batons. Still according to this source, they wanted to disrupt a dedication organized by the authors of the book TransmaniaDora Moutot and Marguerite Stern, on a barge.
The arrested individuals “are being distributed to the SAIPs”, that is to say the population alert and information systems, adds the police source to Europe 1.
“Transmania”, a book which aims to denounce the excesses of transgender ideology
The dedication takes place around the book Transmaniain which the two authors investigate “the excesses of transgender ideology”. “What we call transmania is this kind of frenzy that there is around the trans phenomenon. That is to say, it is everywhere today, in playgrounds, in media, in large companies”, said Marguerite Stern in the morning of Europe 1, in April 2024.
According to them, certain movements finance the development of this ideology for political purposes. “There is a report from LGBT Thunder, it is a philanthropist group which says that they have injected more than 36 million into the United States in 2021 to advance ‘transgender’ demands. But this money returns to Europe to through certain NGOs such as Transgender Europe”, assured Dora Moutot.
